this training is about discovering the limitless potential of our body and voice. it also helps us to discover the creative and healing power of our own voice.
the body is the house for the voice. the voice lives everywhere in the body and is so full of potential that we can hardly imagine it. the training offers tools and pathways to connect with our own resources and to explore the variety of sounds in movement and stillness as we travel through the different spaces inside the body.
the work consists of
- breathing exercises
- warm-up and relaxation of the body
- hand-on bodywork
- authentic movement practice
- chakra tuning with own voice
- improvisation
- sounding, singing and listening
when we relax the mind we wake up our authentic sounding body. we create space for the sounding body to express itself. unexpected, funny, emotional, raw and beautiful sounds can emerge from a living body.
my teaching is based on long experience as a performer and as an explorer of the body and is strongly influenced by the rh theatre work. my work is also influenced by contemporary dance, meridians, butoh, authentic movement practice and different levels of consciousness.
